28-year-old Brad “The Bullet” Baker, originally from Dryad, Washington, won the 2013 American Flat Track Twins Grand National Championship to become the 3rd youngest winner in the history of the sport. Baker started competing in the Championship in 2009 and won the Grand National Singles Championship in his first full year of racing. He was also named the 2011 GNC Expert Rookie of the Year. Baker received the Bronze medal at the Summer XGames in 2015-2017. He also won the prestigious Superprestegio Dirttrack event in Barcelona Spain, twice, where he defeated MotoGP phenomenon, Marc Màrquez.

In 2018 while competing at the Summer XGames, Bakers life tragically changed forever. In the last qualifying session, he had a bad crash that resulted in a broken back which damaged his spinal cord, paralyzing him from the chest down. Baker would spend the next two months in the hospital and inpatient rehab learning how to cope with living life in a wheelchair without the use of the lower half of his body. Even though Brad's life had dramatically changed, he wasn't going to let it define who he is or ruin his future. He worked hard just as he always has to maximize his potential. In 2019 he took over the role as a rider coach for the Indian Motorcycle Racing team along with becoming the expert commentator for American Flat Track.

Baker also organized his own small 450 singles race team, Bullet Strong Racing, with three of his best friends. In December 2019 he asked the love of his life, Kelcey, to spend the rest of her life with him. They are scheduled to get married on July 17th, 2021. Brad also took on a new form of racing in 2020. He now races a micro sprint car that helps him get his dose of adrenaline. He plans to hit as many races as he can between American Flat Track races and just have fun to see where things go with it. Brad continues to go to therapy to hopefully regain the ability to walk again one day.
